He further asked the clerics to pray for his Deputy Governor, Yusuf Gawuna, who emerged as the APC governorship candidate in Kano State for 2023 elections.
In an earlier statement, Ganduje noted that Tinubu’s success in the APC presidential primary, demonstrated his acceptance in the north as a bridge builder.
Ganduje made this comment on a congratulatory letter sent to Tinubu through his Chief Press Secretary, Abba Anwar, on Wednesday, June 8, in Kano state.
He said;
Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s landslide victory in the just-concluded presidential primary election of the All Progressives Congress (APC) shows his high degree of acceptability in the north, as a bridge builder.
The Governor noted that the entire process was calm, and he appreciated everyone who took part for encouraging good democratic practices.
