The seventh edition of the renowned reality television show, Big Brother Naija will kick off today, Saturday, July 23.
The opening day program has been scheduled to take place on a 2-days course, commencing on Saturday and later on Sunday night, July 24. This methodology was first applied in the 2021 Big Brother Naija Shine Ya Eyes edition where WhiteMoney whose real name is Hazel Oyeze Onou emerged the winner.
Expectedly, the show has become the number one trending topic on Twitter Nigeria as Nigerians and other fans of the show across the world are voraciously awaiting the return of the most watched reality show in this part of the world.

In the meantime, here are ten things that Nigerians and fans of the reality show should know ahead of the commencement of the show.
- The show which kicks off on Saturday, July 23 will air for 72 days and end on Sunday, October 2, 2022, approximately 10 weeks.
- There is a grand prize of a N100m worth of prizes for the eventual winner which includes a N50m cash prize, top of the range SUV, trip for two, among many others.
- Season 7 of the show will see the return of the Ninjas in the house.
- Ebuka Obi-Uchendu will be the presenter of the show.
- The theme for this season will officially be unveiled during the live show by the show host.
