Ada Ameh Laid To Rest In Hometown
Veteran Nollywood actress, Ada Ameh was on Friday laid to rest in her hometown Ogobia, Otukpo Local Government Area in Benue state.
Mourners, among whom were some celebrities, struggled to hold back tears, before she was buried.
Senator Abba Patrick Moro, who spoke at the lying-in-state described Ameh as an effective ambassador of the Idoma nation in the entertainment industry.

“To us, her death is a very fundamental and colossal loss; a disaster!”, he said.
Her friend, Empress Njamah decked in black dress, wept as her Ameh was interred.

Ameh died on 17 July 2022. She was 48 years old.
Her family had earlier announced that the funeral service and interment would be held at the family compound on Friday.
A candlelight service was held on Thursday at Saint Mary’s Primary School, Ogobia.
Before her sudden demise, the actress battled with mental health issues after losing her only child.
Ada Ameh who opened up on her mental health battle during a session on TVC, Your View, revealed that the death of her daughter made her struggle with living.
According to her, she has been depressed for years and her daughter’s death worsen it because she was her best friend, and sister and it felt like her world had crumbled down with her death.
