Buju Makes Attempt To Explain Why He Is Better Than Ruger

Nigerian musician, Buju whose real name is Daniel Benson has taken to his Twitter platform to explain why he is better artiste his colleague, Ruger.

This is coming after the Jonzing World artiste, Ruger urged Buju (who is also known as BNXN) to speak to him ‘when he has a solo hit’. Ruger also dubbed his colleague, a ‘fatty bum bum’.

BNXN has since written a lengthy thread to address the trending topic on his official Twitter account.

First, he wrote about the being body shamed by his colleague.

BNXN did not stop there, he went on to berate Ruger for making a snide remark about him. He wrote, “Think you’re moving funny ? I’ll be Sam loco. Let’s go.”

Buju Responds To Ruger’s Taunt On Twitter

Buju on Thursday afternoon published various tweets to address Ruger’s claim of him not having a renowned solo song topping the charts.

First, BNXN mentioned that his two music projects have been featured on the Top 20 list of top 20 albums in the country.

He wrote,

I have 2 projects on the top 20 Albums 🇳🇬 #1 & #14

“Sorry I’m Late” was from October 2021

My fans are the best in the world

He went to state that Ruger’s projects have been unable to attain similar feet.

While Buju’s projects can be found at the top echelon of the music album charts, Ruger‘s project is lagging behind on #164.

Buju went further to write about how he is inspired by Grammy award winning musician, Burna Boy. He mentioned in his post that the self-acclaimed African Giant remains his role model and ‘yardstick’.

The singer went further to write;

The project will ALWAYS be more important than the hit! Look at Burna Boy! That’s my yardstick , you think I wanna blow with 1/2 songs and I no fit come back ?? When he was dropping you didn’t call those songs hits back then but you see now?

It would be recalled Buju and Ruger engaged in a war of words after Ruger claimed that he was a bigger star than Buju when replying a fan who told him Buju was bigger than him.

In his reply, Ruger insisted that unlike him, the former Spaceship artiste can’t boast of solo hits.
