JJC Skillz Gives Reason For Celebrating Estranged Wife, Funke Akindele’s 45th Birthday (Video)

Nigerian entertainment polymath, JJC Skillz whose real name is Abdulrasheed Bello has explained why he celebrated his estranged wife, Nollywood actress and politician, Funke Akindele 45th birthday.

On Wednesday, August 24, JJC Skillz shared a video of Funke Akindele on his Instagram page. He also wrote a message to celebrate her 45th anniversary on earth.

JJC Skillz who was the former leader and co-founder of the defunct music sect, JJC Skillz announced the end of himself and Funke Akindele‘s union a couple of weeks ago.

Speaking a new interview session on E-Splash, the entertainment polymath explained why he celebrated his estranged partner and mother of his twins.

Disregarding their marital crisis, Skillz mentioned during the session that himself and Funke Akindele shared seven beautiful years together, therefore, there is no reason to disrespect her.

He mentioned that it is pivotal to let go of the drama and focus on co-parenting.

Skillz went forward to wish Funke Akindele best of luck in her future endeavors.

He had this to say,

“A lot of people are quite shocked to find out that I am human. To be honest, growing up in England and with my experience of having different baby mamas, the most important thing is the children.”

He stated further,

“Just focus on the children and let all the drama go and most importantly, have the attitude of gratitude. We had almost seven good years of lovely relationship. So Happy birthday to her and I wish her luck”
