Timaya Decries ‘Price Of Daily Bread’ In Nigeria
Veteran Nigerian musician, Timaya has decried the high cost of living in the country.
Timaya’s tweet meant that the situation is not only dealing and affecting the common man, but celebrities are also affected by the expensive cost of living in Nigeria.
The Bayelsa state-born musician declared that the price of daily bread has gone up and accompanied the tweet with a crying emoji.
“Price of daily bread don rise” Timaya wrote on his Twitter platform.

A couple of weeks ago, Timaya‘s colleague, Yemi Alade spoke about the value of life in the country, Nigeria.
According to her, many Nigerians are walking around with underlying diseases and conditions that eventually manifest under stress.
In her words,
“WHAT IS YOUR COUNTRY’S VALUE FOR HUMAN LIFE? MINE IS ZERO.”
In an additional tweet, she mentioned that she wished the country had a better health care system.
She stated that the citizens of the country deserve to receive proper treatment for underlying diseases and conditions.
She continued;
“I WISH WE HAD BETTER AND AFFORDABLE MEDICAL CARE IN NIGERIA! SO MANY PEOPLE WALKING AROUND WITH UNDERLYING DISEASES AND CONDITIONS THAT EVENTUALLY MANIFEST UNDER STRESS“
