AS Roma Legend, Francesco Totti Opens Up On Wife’s Alleged Infidelity As Marriage Crashes
Italian football icon, Francesco Totti has disclosed that his now estranged wife, Ilary Blasi cheated on him on several occasions prior to the annulment of their union.
Francesco Totti is a football legend for the Italian football club, AS Roma. He played the entirety of his football career with the Seria A side.
In a recent interview, Totti opened up on several of the issues he has been facing since he officially hung the boots in 2017.
Totti married Ilary Blasi back in 2005, having previously started dating in 2002, with the pair then splitting earlier this year.
And, in an interview with Corriere della Sera, the former Italy star has now claimed his wife cheated on him – while also revealing he’s now suffering from depression.
The 45-year-old, who stopped playing back in 2017, also suffered the pain of losing his father to Covid in October 2020.
Totti said: “I have lived through a difficult period, first because I stopped playing and then my father died due to Covid.

He continued;
“I also had a strong Covid for 15 days. However, my wife, when I needed her most, was not there.”
And he added:
“It is not true that I was the first to betray.
“I said I was not going to speak and I did not, but I have read too many hoaxes in recent weeks. Some have even made my children suffer.
“In September of last year the rumors began to reach me: ‘look, Ilary has another one. Indeed, more than one.’
“I had never done it in twenty years, nor had she ever done it with me.
“But when I received warnings from different people, whom I trust, I began to suspect.”
Totti went on to reveal that he discovered Blasi’s alleged affair after going through her cellphone.
He continued;
“I looked at her cell phone and I saw that there was a third person, who acted as an intermediary between Ilary and another.
“Here was the evidence (of the affair). The facts. And that led me to depression.
“I could no longer pretend that nothing was happening, but it wasn’t me anymore, it was someone else. I got out thanks to Noemi (Bocchi, his new partner).”
Totti and his wife are looking to settle their issues in court, with the pair having three children together.
The former Roma star, however, hopes it doesn’t come to that and that he’d prefer them to settle their problems without legal help.
