Asake‘s debut studio album, Mr Money With The Vibe has debuted on No. 66 on the Billboard 200.
Moji Delano confirmed this on Tuesday, September 20.
Asake released Mr Money With The Vibe on Friday, September 8.

In another sensational feat, the album made its first entry on the Billboard Album Chart where it debuted at N0.66. This makes it the fourth ever highest charting Nigerian album after Burna Boy‘s ‘Love, Damini‘ which debuted at NO.18, Wizkid‘s ‘Made In Lagos‘ which debuted at NO.28, and Burna Boy‘s Grammy-winning ‘Twice As Tall‘ which debuted at NO. 54.

Meanwhile on Turntables Charts, Asake has landed eight entries in the Top Ten of this week’s Nigeria Top 100.

Asake is the first artiste to claim as many as eight entries in a single frame – surpassing the previous record held by Davido (7 on the chart dated November 23, 2020 of the defunct TurnTable Top 50).
Leading the way, Asake’s ‘Terminator’ which returns to No. 1 on the Top 100, logging its second week atop the chart. Ten of the tracks on the album already debuted on the Top 100 last week off one day of availability during the tracking week.
All these tracks have moved into the top 25 in addition to two new debuts in ‘Reason’ featuring Russ at No. 20 and ‘Sunmomi’ at No. 23.
Mr Money With The Vibe also joins Davido’s A Better Time as the only albums to generate as many as eight top 10 songs in Nigeria (‘Sungba (Remix)’ which is No. 17 on this week’s chart peaked at No. 1 for a week earlier in 2022).
