Mr Money With The Vibe is the title of Asake‘s debut studio album.
The 27-year-old Nigerian recording artiste released his debut album today, Thursday, September 8.
Since the music project surfaced on various music streaming platforms, netizens, fans and lovers of Afrobeat have taken to social media to air their opinion about the album.

The raving artiste, Asake whose real name is Ahmed Ololade Asake has released several top songs in 2022, making him one of the most enthralling musicians this year.
Since he joined music icon, Olamide‘s Yahoo Boy No Laptop (YBNL) record label in the early part of 2022, he has released numerous hit singles such as ‘Sungba‘ featuring Burna Boy, ‘Palazzo‘ in collaboration with DJ Spinall, ‘Peace Be Unto You‘ and most recently, ‘Terminator‘.
The recording is being adored for his blend of his native Yoruba language to create beautiful music on Ampiano sound. Further, the singer’s creative music videos in addition to beautifying his catchy choruses easily made him a fan favorite.

In modern times, the Nigerian music industry has been able to diversify it’s genre and extend it’s musical range. Aside from the Afrobeat genre which has since catapulted into international relevance courtesy of Wizkid, Davido and Burna Boy‘s dexterity, the creation of Afro-fusion which involves pop music, Apala, Fuji, Rap and folklore really helped in enjoining listeners of different class, age group and gender.
Asake‘s lyrics does not accentuate social issues, albeit, he addresses the perception of the Nigerian youths. For instance, his album is primarily themed around epicureanism, self-discovery and attaining purpose.
Aside from his musical dexterity, his music producer, Magicstixx is also to be applauded for a job well done.
In the meantime, fans of Asake‘s music project have been singing his praises for releasing a potential classic.
Don Jazzy Acknowledges Asake’s Album
In a series of tweets published earlier today, Thursday, Don Jazzy, the founder of Mavins Records released several tweets to show his support for Asake.
Acknowledging the brilliance of Asake in 2022, he stated that he is the favorite to win the ‘Next Rated Artiste’ at the 2023 Headies Award ceremony.
He also made a tweet about ‘Joha’, a single off the newly released project.
