Wizkid Confirms Release Date For First Solo Single Of The Year
Nigerian musician, Wizkid is set to release his first single of the year.
Announcing his Instagram stories on Friday, September 9, Wizkid mentioned that his new song, ‘Bad To Me’ will be released on Wednesday, September 14.
The new single is set to be his first since he added four new tracks to ‘Made In Lagos‘ for the deluxe.

In 2022, Wizkid has continued to enjoy fascinating success from the singles of his hugely successful ‘Made In Lagos’ album. ‘Essence’ became the first Afrobeats single to go Platinum in the US and ‘Made In Lagos’ became the first African album to get a gold certification.
Wizkid has also appeared in a handful of collaborations including Chris Brown‘s ‘Call Me Everyday‘, BNXN‘S ‘Many Ways‘, and DJ Tunez‘s ‘Majo.‘
Equally, he became the most decorated artiste in the history of the Headies Award.

Specifically, in the Headies history, Wizkid has amassed 20 awards after he won five awards at the just concluded Headies Awards.
Meanwhile, his colleague, Olamide who is second on the list has amassed fifteen awards.
Wizkid was noticeably absent from the award ceremony on Sunday night.
