A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Femi Fani-Kayode, has raised an alarm over a fresh missing N9 billion from the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
Fani-Kayode alleged, on Wednesday, October 5, that the N9 billion went missing under the leadership of PDP’s National Chairman, Iyorchia Ayu.

In a tweet, the former Aviation Minister said the missing fund was bad for the PDP’s National Working Committee, NWC.
Apart from the billion that was stolen by the PDP Nat. Chairman, another 9 billion has gone missing from the party coffers.
It is so bad that their NWC has ordered a probe.
Now I know why some call them "share the money".

According to Fani-Kayode;
Apart from the billion that was stolen by the PDP Nat. Chairman, another N9 billion has gone missing from the party coffers.
It is so bad that their NWC has ordered a probe.
Now I know why some call them share the money.

Lately, there has been an issue of financial scandals rocking the former ruling party.
In separate letters to the PDP, members of the party’s NWC under Ayu, alleged that monies were paid into their account without their knowledge.

They also claimed they thought the monies were for their “house rent” until a newspaper publication said otherwise.
The NWC members who returned the money are the National Vice Chairman (South-West) Olasoji Adagunodo, the Deputy National Chairman (South) Taofeek Arapaja; National Vice Chairman (South), Chief Dan Orbih and National Women Leader, Prof. Stella Affah-Attoe.
While Adagunodo, Orbih, and Effah-Attoe got N28.8 million each, Arapaja was paid N36 million.
