Gen Z: Netizens Slam Undergraduate Who Disrespectful Quit His Job As ASUU Calls Off Strike
Gen Z populace are said to be creative, intelligent, skillful and stoic. The latter attribute is what often infuriates the older generation about the so-called Generation Z.
No doubt, youngsters who are fortunate to be born in the Gen Z era are usually mavericks who are able to create something impeccable out of nothing, albeit, there are certain characteristics that netizens from older generations would like their younger occupants to fix and become more comprehensive so as to co-exist in peace.
On Friday, October 14, the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) announced the suspension of it’s eight month strike.
The announcement of course was met with mixed reactions from both Nigerian students who have been kept at home for several months and parents of the scholars have been seeking various approaches they could apply to help their offspring further their education.
While some Nigerian scholars were idle and had no idea on where to go following the strike, some astute scholars decided to apply for internship programs and serve companies across the country and even overseas.

His resignation letter stunned netizens after he stated that “sope otilor” which means, “It is gone” in Yoruba language.
Livid as to how Makinde decided to announce his departure from the company, a marketing strategist who published the announcement on Twitter stated that his organization would no longer be employing “student/undergraduate interns“.

I don't understand people finding humour in it. You people have been permitting stupid behaviour under the guise of humour while hyping their exuberance because "Gen Z"
These people are not kids and you need to hold them accountable. This is a terrible behaviour. https://t.co/R42I1LWYUp

Undergraduate intern tells his employer to "fuck off" because strike is over.
"It's obvious they're not treating him well."

Stop making excuses for people's bad characters.

Many Gen Zers who discard formalities in workplaces hope to own businesses and firms some day.
Would they permit the laxities they portray from their own staff?

As much as we can blame Gen Z, blame also lies alot with Gen X (1980s) men. They sired kids all over and abandoned them, no other generation did this as much. A big number of the current teens are being raised without fathers. A big let down from the men.

No you’re not Gen Z, you’re mannerless.
Don’t use Gen Z to back up bad character.

These Gen Zs at workplaces that people call fearless come from rich backgrounds such that even if they got fired, their parents will make that one phone call and they will land a job asap.
Gen Z from a humble background stay humble at work. Dont be misled by privileged colleagues— Dye Anna (@DyeAnna7) October 13, 2022
I've been hearing complaints from some Boomers, Gen X and millennials about Gen Z workers supposedly being weak, quick to give up, or not up to the challenges of the workplace.
I disagree. They're just not buying the rotten setup and the false promises.

I don't know why Gen Z think being rude is an identity or a cool thing. Like, how uncultured and unprofessional must you be to write like this. What the hell.
That we are young doesn't mean we have to be stupid. This Makinde Victor embodies stupidity and foolishness. https://t.co/6FfjWU45gJ

Gen Z Twitter, this is how to identify people that will victimize and witch-hunt you on your new job:
"Wow… You really have an Msc (or whatever qualification)."
"Yes, I do"
"How old are you"
"I'm 25"
"Wow…oga o..at your age I was still writing Jamb"AVOID THEM!

Gen Z parents opting to take their kids to therapy after a disrespect instead of just disciplining them properly. Hilarious

I will never get tired of saying that Gen Z is not an identity or a character pattern. It is an age range, not an access card, to being rude and uncultured.
I am also a Gen Z, and I genuinely don't get the madness.

Y’all taking the opportunity to say what has been on your mind about gen z cuz this is obviously fake and even if it happened is not general behavior but ok https://t.co/QVSyd3lN79

Equally important, Generation Z is anyone born from 1997 to 2012.
