Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Governorship candidate in Lagos, Dr. Olajide Adediran, popularly called Jandor has disclosed that he is not interested in the current rift between Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers state and the party’s flag bearer, Atiku Abubakar.
Wike and Atiku are at logger heads over the removal of Iyorchia Ayu as the party’s national chairman.

Jandor shared his opinion on the crisis in PDP during a media briefing on Wednesday, October 19, with newsmen on the official unveiling of his manifesto and campaign plans in Ikeja, at the weekend.
When he was asked to give his political opinion on the crisis in the party Jandor chose a neutral ground, adding that he is more focused on politics at the state level.
He said;
For us in Lagos, we are under the national, what we have chosen to do is to focus on our election in Lagos, which is the local politics.
Why would I leave the ticket of a better tomorrow for Lagosians, which they are waiting eagerly for and fight the battle of who is national chairman and who is not. If they remove Senator Iyorchia Ayu, will they replace me with him?
Speaking further, he opined that Atiku and Wike are his leaders and both have given him the mandate to go and win the election.
So, as far as we are concerned, both Governor Nyesom Wike and Alhaji Atiku Abubakar’s camps are our leaders. Both camps have given us assignment to do and the assignment is: ‘go and win your state,’ which is Lagos and that is what we are focusing on.

He added;
So, our national leader is playing national politics that is where he belongs. Do not forget that we have candidates for Senate, House of Representatives and House of Assembly, so we are focusing on our election. INEC will not change the date of election because we are having crisis. It is fixed and we must move on.
Despite Wike’s alleged support of his (Jandor) gubernatorial ambition, reports had it that on Tuesday at the 22nd conference Committee of Wives of Lagos State Officials, held in the state, the Rivers state Governor endorsed the All Progressives Congress gubernatorial candidate, Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
