Rihanna Reportedly ‘Nervous’ To Perform At Super Bowl 2023 Halftime Show
Superstar musician, Rihanna has reportedly stated that she’s ‘nervous’ about performing at next year’s Super Bowl Halftime Show but, like much of the internet, she’s also excited for the ride.
News of the multi award-winning singer’s starring role in one of the biggest nights of the US sporting calendar was announced by the NFL last month.
Following the reveal, the singer, 34, shared a photo of her hand holding an American football on Instagram and Twitter, yanno, just casual.

The performance, which will be watched by millions, marks Rihanna’s first time on stage with a mic in hand in a hot minute, with her last album being Anti in 2016.

She’s only released a handful of singles since then, having spent much of the last few years building her Fenty empire with the likes of Fenty Beauty, Fenty Skin, and Savage X Fenty now dominating the market and making her a billionaire.
But, despite her nerves (and you’d have to be a robot to not be nervous about performing at the Super Bowl), the Umbrella hitmaker is ‘looking forward’ to the experience.
Asked how she felt about the performance while out grocery shopping in Los Angeles on Tuesday, she told US outlet TMZ: ‘I’m nervous…but I’m excited.’
While Rihanna is expected to be joined by special guests for the show, in true Super Bowl style, the Barbadian star declined to comment further on details.
