Victoria Beckham has expressed her pride about her husband David’s decision to queue for 13 hours to pay his respects to the late Queen Elizabeth II.
Victoria Beckham appeared on Monday night’s Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen when she was asked about the former England captain’s experience.
The fashion designer admitted that the 47-year-old was offered the chance to jump the queue to witness the Queen’s coffin in Westminster Hall.

However, she explained it was important for him to wait alongside thousands of others instead of opting for VIP treatment.
“He thoroughly enjoyed being in that queue, he said he met some amazing people and it was just what he felt that he had to do to show respect.
“And he said it was an incredible, incredible thing to do and something that he’s so glad he did.”

Responding to Beckham, host Andy Cohen, 54, said: “I thought that was such a beautiful thing.”
Last month, Beckham donned a flat cap and a smart suit as he waited in line with thousands of other mourners.
As Beckham approached the front of the queue on September 16, he told ITV News that he was attending “on behalf of his family”, having grown up in a “household of royalists”.
He also ingratiated himself with the crowd by buying doughnuts and posing for selfies as the queue made its slow progress along the south bank of the Thames.
“We all want to be here together, we all want to experience something where we celebrate the amazing life of our Queen,” said Beckham, who played for Manchester United and Real Madrid during a glittering footballing career.
“Something like this today is meant to be shared together. This day was always going to be a difficult day. Our thoughts are with the family – it’s very special to hear all of the stories from people here.”
Beckham said at the time his favourite memory of the late monarch was when he received his OBE for services to football in 2003.
“I was so lucky I was able to have a few moments in my life to be around Her Majesty,” he told reporters, before joking that he was being “told off” for holding up the line.
