Idris Okuneye, a Nigerian transvestite who is otherwise known as Bobrisky has continued to identify as a woman.
The controversial crossdresser reiterated that he is ‘a girl’ in a recent social media post.
Insisting that he is still a lady, Bobrisky mentioned that no should argue about his gender.

The crossdresser wrote:
“Only in Nigeria people argue your gender with you.
“I say I am a girl, some are still doubting.
“Until i spread my kpekus on air before una believe.”

Equally, Bobrisky is renowned as one of the most controversial figures in the country.
Despite dressing in feminine attire, Bobrisky has never identified as a member of the LGTBQ community. He has continued to crown himself several feminine titles such as ‘Queen’, ‘Barbie’, etc.
In September 2021, Nigerian actor, Godwin Maduagu came out as gay.
“After getting a better life for myself, my close friends set me up, blackmailed me and leaked my sex tape. I became depressed and almost committed suicide,” he wrote.
“My family saved me by giving me words of encouragement and advice that kept me going. Look at me now living my truth because I’ve now gotten a strong thick skin.
“Love is love. Say no to blackmail. What will people say have killed a lot of people.”
