Ifeanyi Adeleke: Ayo Makun, Foremost Nigerian Comedian Bemoans Demise Of Davido, Chioma’s Son
Popular Nigerian comedian, Ayo Makun has stated that the loss of a child is “unnatural, unfair and tragic”. The entertainment polymath composed this statement amid reports of the passing of Davido and Chioma Rowland‘s 3-year-old son, Ifeanyi Adeleke.
Reports of the tragic demise of the young lad emerged on Monday, October 31.
Ifeanyi died by drowning at his dad’s Banana Island home. He was rushed Evercare Hospital in Lekki where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

The couple had traveled for a family gathering to Ibadan on Sunday and had left Ifeanyi with the maid who can’t explain how he entered the pool without being noticed and drowned.
Additionally, it was gathered that quite a number of people who were at Davido‘s house when the incident happened have been arrested.

It was gathered that the distraught and inconsolable Davido was removed from Evercare Hospital and taken to his father’s house where he remains as at the time of this publication.
Reacting to the news of Ifeanyi’s passing, Ayo Makun stated on his Instagram platform, “the death of a child is unnatural, unfair and tragic. This hits me so bad.”
Davido and Chioma’s loss is coming years after Nigerian singer Oladapo Daniel Oyebanjo, popularly known as D’banj and wife Lineo Didi lost their first child after a drowning incident in 2018.
Daniel Oyebanjo III who was barely one year died after he drowned in a swimming pool at Dbanj’s residence in Ikoyi, Lagos state.
