Ifeanyi Adeleke: Police Confirms Davido’s Son Drowned
On Monday, October 31, Ifeanyi Adeleke, the son of renowned Nigerian recording artiste, Davido and Chioma Rowland died after he drowned in a swimming pool in their home.
The Lagos State Police Command has confirmed that the autopsy conducted on the corpse of Ifeanyi Adeleke, son of Davido and his fiancée, Chioma Rowland, showed that he died due to drowning.
The development was disclosed by the Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, on Saturday.

Recall that Ifeanyi Adeleke, Davido’s son, was said to have drowned in a swimming pool two days ago.
MDB reported that the incident happened within Davido’s residential home in the Banana Island highbrow of Lagos State.
Police had also interrogated some of the singer’s domestic workers, including Ifeanyi’s nanny, still held in police custody.

“Autopsy has been concluded. It confirmed the boy (Ifeanyi) died by drowning,” Hundeyin confirmed.
He also said the two suspects still held in custody are undergoing investigations.
He had this to say, “I don’t want to preempt that. Investigation is still ongoing.”
According to a source close to the heartbreaking incident, the Nanny was with Ifeanyi and the Chef came to join them.
The Nanny was said to have moved slightly away to receive a call.
When she returned, she couldn’t find Ifeanyi and assumed he was with the chef but the chef said he had left Ifeanyi with her. They began to frantically look for Ifeanyi all over the house for close to 20 mins until a security guard spotted him in the pool.
Davido and Chioma were said to have returned from their trip to the devastating news.
