Kanye West Returns To Twitter After Ban Is Lifted Following Anti-Semitism Rant
American recording artiste, Kanye West has returned to the social media platform, Twitter after his account was suspended following his anti-Semitism row.
The rapper faced a huge backlash from fans after he made several derogatory posts on the platform about Jewish people.
However, Elon Musk‘s $44 Billion takeover of the social media site has now seen Kanye make his return after his ban was lifted.

Kanye, 45, quite literally tested his audience with his first tweet following his reinstatement with a very simple tweet.
He wrote: “Testing Testing Seeing if my Twitter is unblocked.”

Kanye was axed from Twitter when on October 9 he stated that he would go “death con 3” on “Jewish people.”
While reports suggest that Elon was behind the restoration of Ye’s account, the Tesla CEO has denied that he had any involvement, claiming his account was in fact placed back in action before his takeover deal happened.
Elon tweeted: “Ye’s account was restored by Twitter before the acquisition. They did not consult with or inform me.”

Donald Trump Returns To Twitter
Other controversial accounts Twitter users have expected to see reinstated included that of former US president Donald Trump who has also made his return.
The inflammatory businessman saw his account welcomed back to the platform following a vote which saw 15 million users give their opinion with the yes vote grabbing 51.8%, versus 48.2% for the nos.
Following the result Elon tweeted to confirm the decision writing: “The people have spoken. Trump will be reinstated. Vox Populi, Vox Dei.”
“Vox Populi, Vox Dei” is a Latin phrase that means “the voice of the people is the voice of God.”

Donald however doesn’t seem as keen as Kanye to be back almost two years after he was banned following the January 6 2021 US Capitol riots.
He told a rally “I don’t see any reason for it (returning),” but later on Saturday an account calling itself @RealDonald Trump, 45th President of the United States of America appeared on the network and the words “He’s Back” began trending.
