Nigeria’s Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, on Monday, disclosed that there were neither silver bullets nor perfect approaches to reform the country’s health care system.
A statement on Monday signed by the Senior Special Assistant to the Vice President on Media and Publicity, Laolu Akande, said the vice president spoke during the opening of a two-day Presidential Health Reform Committee retreat in Abuja.

Osinbajo explained that delivering an efficient healthcare system would require a multi-sectoral approach across different levels of government and the private sector.
He added;
We must recognise that reforms can be complex and the lessons learnt are there; no silver bullets and no perfect approaches. This is especially true in huge areas such as health care.
What is crucial is that we set the broad parameters and vision for the health care system we desire for our people; we adopt a flexible approach that enables us to track and incorporate other reform initiatives.
