Portuguese football icon, Cristiano Ronaldo has joined Saudi Arabian club Al Nassr on a two-year contract.
He joins the Asian club after he prematurely left 20-time Premier League winners Manchester United following the termination of his contract last month.
According to football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the deal is reported to be worth close to €200m per year, commercial deals included.

As per CBS Sports, sources with tangible knowledge of the negotiations say that Ronaldo “has already completed the parts of his medical necessary to sign his contract while a second set of tests are expected to take place next week.”
Meanwhile, Al Nassr are expected to officially announce the 37-year-old’s signing after their away game against Al Khaleej on Saturday.
Ronaldo has had to endure a torrid period in his football career after he fell out of favour with United coach Erik Ten Hag. Just before the World Cup began in Qatar, he granted an explosive interview with controversial journalist Piers Morgan.

He blasted Ten Hag in the interview and made a number of statements that were considered unnecessary, drawing widespread criticism.
Also, having started Portugal’s first few games at the World Cup, he was left on the bench in the knockout round with Fernando Santos’ side eventually eliminated after losing 1-0 to Morocco in the quarter-finals.
The football icon has since confirmed his arrival at the Saudi Arabian club.
