Oreagba, who was represented by the Director of Welfare Matters, LASTMA, Morayo Ojeniyi, added that only the healthy can contribute to the development of the state.
He stated;
The agency has standard and well-equipped medical facilities with professionals who attend to staff members’ medical needs daily.
However, this collaboration is pertinent to ensure stable medical fitness for our officers; hence I commend the medical guild and other specialists who supported us.
The Chairman of Medical Guild, Lagos State branch, Dr Sa’eid Ahmad, noted;
The doctors came to LASTMA office at Oshodi, taking safety messages to the doorstep of the officials by rendering free medical consultations, screenings and dental services and specialists were drafted to treat various ailments ranging from hypertension to diabetes and dental care among others.
Only severe cases where the doctors on the ground are unable to cope would be referred to the hospitals if need be.
