Labour Party (LP) Presidential candidate, Peter Obi has reacted to a statement made by the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council (PCC), claiming he always gives false and unverified statistics.
Replying to the APC, the former Anambra Governor told the ruling party to provide their own correct statistics if he is wrong about the figures.
Obi stated this while speaking on the first and second convocation ceremonies of the Dominican University, Ibadan.
He argued that for every ten statements he has made, nine of them would be undoubtedly correct.

The LP flagbearer insisted that he was not making up his statistics as he has been in the place of power and knows what it takes.
He said:
If they said I give unverified statistics let them come with their alternatives, if you say I’m wrong let them provide their own, they cannot say I’m wrong if they failed to give their own, for every statement or statistic I made, if you look at ten I will get nine, quote me anywhere, and have always maintained over 75 percent.
I know what I’m talking about, I’ve been there and I know what it takes; they have not shown anything.
