Bisi Alimi Appeals To Gay Men To Desist From Walking Down The Aisle With Heterosexual Women
Bisi Alimi is renowned advocate for same-sex marriage in Nigeria.
The Lesbian, Gay, Bi-Sexual, Transgender, Queer (LGBTQ+) spokesman in a post shared on his Instagram stories admonished homosexuals to desist from walking down the aisle with heterosexual women.
According to the LGBTQ+ activist, gay men should stop marrying heterosexual women and simply focus on their homosexual partners. He went on to mention that 2023 should be a year wherefore people do not hide their sexuality.

In his post, he mentioned that gay men can do better.
His post reads,
“Dear fellow gay men, let’s make 2023 the year you stop trying to marry straight women. We can do better.”

In early 2004, Alimi attended the 4th National Conference on HIV/AIDS held in Abuja where he voiced HIV concerns amongst Nigerian gay men.
He was later to become a Nigerian gay rights activist leading several peaceful protests and social dialogues to demand the acceptance of homosexuals in Nigeria.
Alimi married his Australian husband, Anthony Davis in 2016.
