The Special assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on digital and new media, Mr Tolu Ogunlesi has reacted after Labour Party defeated APC to win Presidential election in Lagos State.
Peter Obi of Labour Party has defeated All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to win Lagos State.

Labour Party gathered the total number of 582,354, while All Progressives Congress gathered 572,606.
Peter Obi and Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu gathered a lot of votes in Lagos, and they were far ahead of People’s Democratic Party’s presidential candidate Alhaji Atiku Abubakar who came third.
The victory of Labour Party’s Presidential candidate Peter Obi in Lagos State has been generating a lot of comments on social media by some Nigerians and the Presidency has also confirmed that Peter Obi’s Labour Party has won in Lagos State.
Reacting after it was reported that Labour Party’s Presidential candidate Peter Obi has defeated All Progressives Congress (APC) to win Lagos State in the 2023 Presidential election, President Muhammadu Buhari spokesman Tolu Ogunlesi posted on his verified Twitter handle that;

Second time an opposition party is winning Lagos in the Presidential election, after 2011 where PDP had 1.2m votes vs 427,000 for the ruling ACN.
