Adekunle Gold Criticizes President Buhari, Says Country Regressed Under His Administration
Nigerian recording artiste, Adekunle Gold has opined that that the country regressed under the leadership of President Muhammadu Buhari.
Taking to social media, Adekunle Gold stated that the Buhari-led administration had done nothing other than waste eight years of Nigerians’ lives.
In a tweet, Adekunle Gold said the country has been in regression since the Buhari administration took over in 2015.

“This current administration wasted 8 years of our lives. 8 years, we regressed as a nation,” he wrote.

President Muhammadu Buhari‘s reign as the leader of the most populous black nation will be coming to a conclusion after the 2023 presidential election that has been scheduled to take place on February 25.
His administration has been met with predominantly harsh criticism from citizens of the country due to incessant hardships, struggles and critical state of the nation since his emergence as a civilian president in 2015.
In December 2022, Buhari spoke with Al-Mahfoudh Bin Bayyah, the secretary-general of the Abu Dhabi Forum, and Bob Roberts, his deputy, in Washington where he argued that Nigeria is a large country facing many challenges.
In January, while inaugurating a project in Katsina, Buhari added that he hopes he will be remembered positively for his achievements while in office.
