Diddy Denies Deriding Burna Boy Following Grammy Loss
American music mogul, Sean Combs who is otherwise known as Diddy has denied speculations that he was mocking Nigerian recording artiste, Burna Boy for failing to pick up an award at the 65th edition of the Grammy Award ceremony that took place on Sunday, February 5.
The alleged post from Diddy’s IG said, “I helped you win your first and only Grammy award, which I did out of kindness, and somehow you thought you could win another without my help? Oh okay.”
For context, Diddy served as the co-executive producer for Burna’s 2020 music project, Twice as Tall.

Burna won a Grammy for Best Global Music Album for it in 2021.
Although Burna’s 2022 album, Love Damini, was nominated again this year in the same category, the winner went to Masa Takumi for Sakura.
Diddy responded to a blog post and said the initial post from his account was “fake.”
