MDB Music: Tribute To Tems’ Grammy Win, Ayra Stars Debuts ‘Sability’
MDB Music would like to commend Nigerian singer-songwriter, Tems for her recent achievement at the 65th Grammy award ceremony on Sunday, February 5.
The 27-year-old songstress emerged as the first Nigerian-born female musician to win a Grammy award following her contribution on Future and Drake‘s ‘Wait For U’. The single won the Best Melodic Rap Performance category.
Tems, whose real name is Temilade Openiyi, has since reacted to the impressive win.

Taking to Twitter, she wrote,
“What God has done for me, I can’t even speak. All the glory really belongs to Him.
“To everyone that has been supporting me still, through everything, please know I don’t take it for granted.”
She continued, “I truly appreciate it. The love has been too too much. Thank you so much Rebel Gang. We up very soon.”

Tems has continued to shine since her rise to stardom, hitting remarkable milestones in the music industry both at home and abroad.
