Nigerian actor, Mr Macaroni has revealed he has allegedly been receiving death threats.
The movie actor and social media content creator made the outcry via his Twitter account on Monday night.
Macaroni whose real name is Adebowale Adedayo is known for his popular skits on social media as well as his activism and involvement in the EndSARS protests that took place in Nigeria in 2020.

In a tweet posted on Monday, he wrote,
“Mr. Macaroni revealed that he had received an email from someone threatening to kill him over his activism. He wrote, “I’m already used to threats! I have a record of all threats I have received, I also have recorded calls and messages of Powerful politicians and their children that have ever reached out to me!!! I always said NO! Because as long as I still dey, There shall be NO COMPROMISE!!!.”

The social media content creator has been critical of the ruling party and the other authorities in the country, particularly during the #EndSARS protest in 2020.
Macaroni in 2021 was arrested by the police during the #OccupyLagos protest. Though the comedian was released on the same day, he has continued to be vocal about the injustice and dehumanization of Nigerian youths.
In other news, veteran Nigerian actress, Iretiola Olusola Doyle has described the political structure claimed by the All Progressives Congress, (APC) as theft.
The actress, in a tweet on her Twitter handle, stated that the “structure” which most political parties boast of is nothing more than political theft and violence.
“So, this famous structure is not any real ideology or system. Nothing but political theft and violence in its most base forms? All that “intellectual” posturing over the last year was just posturing?”
