Phyna emerged as the winner of the 2022 Big Brother Naija Level Up competition.
In a recent interview with media personality, OAP Nedu, Phyna whose real name is Ijeoma Josephina Otabor shared her experience about entering a relationship with an internet fraudster otherwise known as a yahoo boy.
When asked if she could date a guy who didn’t have money, Phyna said,
“Nedu i will be 26 this year.
I don date, i don dey relationship.
If you check my life well, there was never a time when life don good for me and i get boyfriend.
In fact, once upon a time, my longest relationship, i dated a yahoo guy.
Trust me, he never gave a me a dime.
All he does is, youno yahoo boys, go club spray.”

She went forward to say,
“Make, i even shock you, majority of yahoo boys don’t give their girlfriends money and the girl will be there not because she is getting but because ‘he get money,’ they go go club; Oluwa dollar, Oluwa billion, that title.
The car, front seat. See no be cap, if na 100 yahoo boys dey Nigeria, 90 no dey give their babe money.”
