Portable Issues Stern Warning To Peter Okoye, Urges Him Not To Disrespect ‘Kuti’ Family
Nigerian recording artiste, Portable has stated that no disrespect would be condoned from anyone who disrespects the legendary Afrobeat connoisseur, Fela Anikulapo-Kuti.
Portable in the video that aired on social media was addressing Peter Okoye, one half of the twin duo, P Square who has been at loggerheads with the youngest son of Fela, Seun Kuti for calling Labour Party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi an ‘opportunist’.
Peter Okoye in his Twitter post mentioned that Seun Kuti has been unable to create a legacy for himself outside the title of his father. However, he (Peter Okoye) has built a career for himself and his family despite emerging from nothing.

One half of the popular twin duo, P Square had this to say,
“Dude just erased his father’s history!
You said only the people of Nigeria can save Nigeria!
Is PO and the rest of the candidates not the Nigerian people?
Shame! In fact, Shame!! Shame!!! So disappointed”.
Okoye‘s statement has since been met with mixed reactions from social media users, especially fans of the legendary Afrobeat pioneer.
Portable, a singer who is renowned for instigating controversy decided to join the ongoing altercation between Seun Kuti and Okoye.

Describing himself as young Fela, he said:
“I go by name, portable of Africa, Anikuleti, Young Fela. Ogun kill you, You say wetin. I hear say you dey insult Fela Kuti, You wey be say you and your family still dey alive and una no still blow.”
