He stated:
I am stretching forth my hand to work with everybody including those who contested with me. We have only one Akwa Ibom.
Eno came under criticism few hours to the election after he said he would have a “happy hour”, a moment where government would subsidize drinks in choice bars on Friday for citizens.
Despite the criticisms his happy hour comment raised in the mainstream notably on a morning show on Arise TV anchored by former presidential spokesperson, Reuben Abati, Eno, said “let the happy hour begin” after he was announced Governor-elect.
