A coterie of women in Ikorodu, Lagos state have taken to the streets to call out the political party, All Progressive Congress (APC) for failing to fund their accounts after they sold their votes for the party during the 2023 presidential election.
The outburst is coming several days prior to the rescheduled gubernatorial election.
In the viral video, the women who spoke in Yoruba language said Ikorodu had more votes compared to other local government areas in the state.

According to the women, Ikorodu lacks good leadership, stressing the vote canvasser and voters are yet to receive money for the last election.
The angry women added that they would not be voting for APC on Saturday or might decide to stay indoors during the elections.

In other news, the governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Speaker of the federal House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, and Seyi Tinubu, among others, are set to grace a special victory prayer session for the President-elect, Bola Tinubu, in Osun State on Sunday, March 26, 2023.
