Enoch: A Biopic On Pastor E. A Adeboye Released
Enoch, a biopic on Pastor E.A Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, (RCCG) has been released.
It is produced by Solid Rock Foundation in conjunction with Mount Zion films, the film is executively produced by Oluwakemi Sodeinde, a budding filmmaker.
Speaking about her foray into filmmaking, Oluwakemi said it all started during the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020 when she was led by God to retreat and spend time with Him. It was at that point that she decided to do a course in Christian Drama Ministry, and that was how the journey began.
Shortly afterwards, she got an inspiration to produce a biopic movie on Pastor E.A Adeboye. She approached the clergyman with her intentions and in 2021 he gave a written approval, to go ahead to produce the movie.
She stated:
It was an assurance that indeed the inspiration was from God. That God indeed is faithful to His words and that when He gives an assignment He will see to it that He brings it to pass.
It took the team about six months to research and produce the movie.
The purpose and inspiration is purely for a global harvest of souls and to celebrate a spiritual patriarch whose life is worthy of emulation.
Asked where she sees in 5 years?
I see myself reaching more souls through gospel movies and seeing Solid Rock Foundation becoming a household name and people looking forward to movies from our stables.
