Lagos State Police To Investigate Demise Of Yul, May Edochie’s Son, Kambilichukwu
The Lagos State Police Command has confirmed the unfortunate demise of Kambilichukwu Edochie, the 16-year-old son of popular Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie.
Kambilichukwu died on Wednesday, March 29, 2023, at the Mother and Child Hospital in Lagos where he was rushed to after developing a seizure, while playing football with his mates.
Spokesperson for the police in the state, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, who confirmed the development in a statement on Friday morning, March 31, said the actor reported the death of his son to the command.

According to the PPRO, the matter will be forwarded to the State Criminal Investigation Department on Friday, March 31, for investigation.

Earlier, Pete Edochie the grandfather of Kambilichukwu also confirmed the sad news to journalists on Thursday, March 30.
He stated that on Wednesday, his son Yul called him and told him that Kambilichukwu had collapsed while playing football with his classmates and developed a seizure.
According to him, the deceased was rushed to the Mother and Child Hospital, Lagos, where he was later confirmed dead.
He described his late grandson as an unusual person, very brilliant and easy-going.
“Kambilinachukwu is a very quiet, brilliant and talented child. He’s not somebody you can ride easily. He doesn’t get angry, no matter the situation.
“He may change his composure, but he was a very unusual person in so many respects,” Vanguard quoted Edochie as saying.
