Thugs have once more attacked the campaign trail of Olumide Oworu in Surulere, Lagos state, where he is running for the Lagos State House of Assembly (Surulere Constituency 1) on behalf of the Labour Party, LP.

The attack took place at a short distance from Bode Thomas today, March 16, according to actor Tomiwa Tegbe, who tweeted a video from the scene.

The number of people hurt in the attack is unknown. This occurs shortly after Olumide Oworu disclosed that he was attacked on March 14 in the same Surulere neighborhood’s Iponri sector.
Olumide Oworu, who is running for Surulere seat 1 in the Lagos State House of Assembly against APC’s Desmond Elliot, stated that the attack happened on Tuesday, March 14.
He further noted that, while the event has been reported to the Iponri police station, he is not afraid.

I am not deterred by the incident. Instead I am more committed to seeing this through.
