Omotola Jalade Explains Why She Declined 2023 Oscars’ Invitation
Leading Nigerian actress, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde has explained why she declined the invitation to attend the 2023 Oscars Award ceremony in the United States of America.
Speaking via her Instagram post, the veteran thespian noted that she would not be attending the international award ceremony for patriotic reasons.
It would be recalled that 95th Academy Awards was a ceremony held by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences on March 12, 2023, at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, honoring films released in 2022.

Writing about her reasons for choosing not to attend the award ceremony, she wrote,
