Seun Kuti Reveals Real Owners Of Lagos
Seun Kuti, the son of legendary Afrobeat pioneer, Fela Anikulapo-Kuti on his Instagram platform has opined that Nigerians should know their history.
He has made attempt to explain how Lagos state was established
Seun further claimed that all elite Lagosians were once slave masters in the state when it was ruled and dominated by European masters.

The Afrobeat artist went on Instagram to rant about the importance of history in society and why Lagos should never be referred to as “no man’s land” or ‘Yoruba land”.
Seun argued that Lagos is a Portuguese word whose geographical area was formerly known as the slave coast.

He wrote:
“Lagos is no man’s land – WRONG.
As a matter of fact, Lagos is Yoruba land – WRONG AGAIN.
Lagos is a European satellite slave port – CORRECT!! “You don’t know Lagos!! #getthesax
“Hey, Ode look here, LAGOS IS A PORTUGUESE WORD. It is called the SLAVE COAST. Learn your history, you no go gree.
“Everyone moved to Lagos to SLAVE!! All Prominent Lagos Elites are SLAVERS. Defend your masters all you want!! #getthesax.”

Seun Kuti‘s statement on social media is coming amid the tribal crisis caused by the three top political parties in Lagos State, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Labour Party (LP), and All Progressive Congress, (APC).
He went further to write on his Instagram that all elite Lagosians were once slave masters in the state when it was ruled and dominated by European masters.
