Akon Tackles Elon Musk For Seeking Users To Pay ‘Verification’ Badge
Senegalese-American musician, Akon has shared a tweet that seems to berate world richest man, Elon Musk for forcing artistes to pay FYI, which is a verification stamp that showed that celebrities account are genuine, which is moved that helped stabilized stars account from being duplicated by certain people for their selfish interest.
According to the tweet that registered Akon’s disdain for the movement, his message reads ” back in the day, Twitter was begging musicians to stay on because they didn’t have traffic, They came up with a verification process to protect accounts from fakes ones, now, Elon Musk is taking that away and forcing us to pay – FYI, I ain’t paying shit for something we helped build, ” He berates the new Twitter’s CEO.
