DJ Chicken, a contentious disc jockey, has responded after being beaten to a pulp by some Abu Abel supporters in Lagos.
In the wee hours of Friday, a video of a group of guys allegedly bashing DJ Chicken to death after reports that he called the socialite a loser during one of his live sessions on Instagram surfaced online.

During an Instagram live session, DJ Chicken apologized to anyone he had previously frightened or insulted and explained what happened.
He said;
See the beating I received today, I have never received it before. My arm is broken, I want to go and massage it at home. My fans, something is wrong with me. See don’t ever disrespect people that will beat you up and forget you in jail.
I have smoked the wrong weed today. The beating was too much. After this, if I mess up, kill me or send me to jail. I give you the order. After this, if I make a mistake, tell them to kill me or send me to jail. Honestly! They beat me today, it wasn’t a small one. There are some people that are bosses. I met the bosses today.
You know what, after this one if I ever disrespect you again just kill me. Please forgive me. From now on, I will be living my life quietly. This life is not hard.

What Happened
During one of his live sessions on Instagram, DJ Chicken is said to have made fun of the socialite by demeaning him and saying that he is worthless. In reply, Abu Abel brought the CD jockey to a place where he was met by the socialite’s group.
He was brutally beaten with a plank and every object in the room before being forced to withdraw his remarks and offer his apologies to Abu Abel during a live broadcast.
