Richard Osita: Uche Ogbodo, Mary Njoku Have Diverse Opinions Over Rape Allegation
Richard Osita, a Nigerian programmer who was accused of rape by his childhood bestie has been the subject of discussion among social media users since the commencement of the week.
Nigerians thespians, Uche Ogbodo and Mary Remmy-Njoku have the joined social media commentators to discuss the controversial allegations levelled against Richard Osita by an 18-year-old lady known as Nkechi Bella Nwoko.
Though Bella has since come out to publicly apologize to Osita, the programmer went on Instagram to report tag necessary authorities.

Reacting to the latest development, Uche Ogbodo responded to it on Instagram and advised him to “relax” about his “vindictive approach,” adding that the lady had only threatened and not actually done what she had said she would. She penned:
“Richard you need to relax with your vindictive approach! She threatened to accuse you but she never did….and turned around to apologise for it. Forgive her then and move on! Let us stop pushing wicked and meant people to ruin people’s lives all in the name of ‘I am Right’.
See how you are even abusing the Police Force! What manner of person is this guy? You want her to pay for what? For not carrying out a threat yet? Nah you even carry am come social media come announce am. Abeg shift Richard!”

Mary Remmy-Njoku disagreed, saying:
“She must face the consequences. False rape allegation can destroy someone’s life, career and reputation forever. Any time you search for his name ‘rape’ could be mentioned. And his crime was ‘not being interested in her.’ she needs to be jailed.”
