Seun Kuti, an Afrobeat musician, thanked his legal team on social media for getting him out of jail.
In connection with an alleged assault on a police officer on May 14, Seun was detained and held at Lagos State’s Panti, the State Criminal Investigation Department.

The Afrobeat crooner was granted his release a few hours ago, and he has already thanked his legal team for securing his bail on his Instagram page.
His post read;
Last but not least, the legal team. Uncle Femi Falana, SAN, Uncle Olumide Fisika, SAN, Uncle Kayode Adegoke, SAN, Barrister Ogunlana, Ade Ademiluyi; and everyone on the team, I owe you my freedom and my sanity. Let’s go.
Seun’s release was confirmed by his attorney, Olumide-Fusika, SAN, in an interview on Tuesday night.
His lawyer also confirmed that the singer will be at the Yaba Magistrate’s Court today, Wednesday, for the proceedings that were adjourned today due to the magistrate’s absence.
