Hours after a Facebook user named Kajue Baba went live on Facebook with the viral Muslim lady, Sofiat Lawal, whose trended few days ago due to the way she dressed and recited Qur’an in a street interview, to apologize to entire Muslims, Muslim faithfuls raised donations for her.

According to Kajue Baba, the total money received for Sofiat Olamide Taye is now two million, two hundred thousand naira (N2.2m). Apart from the donations made to her, a certain Muslim cleric in the south west named Sheikh Akewugbagold, has promised her next year’s holy pilgrimage (Hajj) of Muslims to Mecca, Saudi Arabia.
Kajue Baba made it known that the viral Muslim lady, Sofiat Olamide, is given the opportunity to choose if she will go for this year’s lesser pilgrimage (ummah) or next year’s Hajj.
Sofiat was however seen in new photos where the Facebook user said, “Sofiat Olamide Taye and her family members are really thanking you (the entire Muslims for all you have done for them).”
