The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC) has disassociated itself from a recruitment claim making the round on social media.
The NNPCL warned Nigerians against falling for the false recruitment claims, stressing that it is not recruiting at the moment.
This company stated this in a statement shared on its X handle on Monday.
Earlier, in August 2017, NNPCL cautioned the public to disregard posts on social media that it was recruiting.
In October and December 2021, the oil firm again asked Nigerians to shun fraudulent recruitment claims.
NNPC in its X post stressed that it would notify the public through its official platforms, whenever there is a recruitment exercise.
“Whenever recruitment is conducted, it will be announced on our website and official social media handles,” it said.
