Renowned Nigerian singer Tiwa Savage, also known as Tiwatope Omolara Savage, has shared a personal health update, disclosing her ongoing battle with an undisclosed virus.
She made this announcement via her Instagram page on Tuesday, revealing that she has been contending with the virus for several weeks.
In her statement, Tiwa Savage expressed her commitment to her fans and her love for music, but due to her health condition, she has been advised to take a break from singing. The duration of this break is expected to extend for the next few months.

She said, “To my dear Savage Soldiers, I’ve been fighting off a virus for the past few weeks and was today firmly instructed to be on strict vocal rest for the next few months.
“I will unfortunately have to postpone all performances including my first ever headline arena show in London.
“I’m heartbroken and devastated but I have to do this to save what’s left of my voice.
“I’m so sorry. I love you all and promise to be back performing once I’m fully healed.”
