Ten-year-old North West, daughter of rapper Kanye West and Kim Kardashian, surprised fans with an announcement of her own at her father’s listening party for his upcoming album “Vultures 2” this weekend.
According to reports, North took the stage alongside Kanye and revealed she’s been working on her own musical project titled “Elementary School Dropout.”
The title is a clear homage to Kanye’s own critically acclaimed debut album, “The College Dropout,” which launched his career in 2004. While details about North’s album remain scarce, her appearance at the high-profile event has sparked significant buzz online. North previously dipped her toes into the music world with a feature on her father’s song “Talking” from “Vultures 1.”
She, however, did not provide a release date for the project.
The album is not North’s first foray into music.
Earlier this year, she impressed fans with her rap on ‘Talking/Once Again’, a song off Kanye’s collaborative album with Ty Dolla $ign.
Born June 15, 2013, North is the eldest child of Kim and Kanye, who got married in 2014 but divorced in 2022.
She appears to be the most vocal among her siblings — Chicago, Psalm and Saint.
