Breaking News: Nigeria Survives Another Weekend!
Nigeria made it through the weekend without imploding. Despite predictions of doom and gloom, the country somehow managed to avoid total collapse.
On Saturday, the presidency and Peter Obi’s supporters engaged in a heated game of “Who Can Make the Most Outrageous Claims” – with no clear winner.
Meanwhile, the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) allocated a whopping $13 million to fight terrorism and support humanitarian efforts. Because, you know, that’s exactly what Nigeria needs – more money thrown at problems.
And on Sunday, President Tinubu addressed African leaders, highlighting ECOWAS’ achievements and challenges. We’re pretty sure he didn’t mention the part where Nigeria is still struggling with basic electricity and healthcare.
In a mind-boggling feat, Fola David has broken the world record for the largest drawing ever created by an individual.
The record-breaking artwork, titled “Unity in Diversity,” stretches a staggering 850 square meters, surpassing the previous record by over 200 square meters.
Scientists are stunned, trying to understand how David’s brain didn’t turn into mush.
In an Instagram video, Fola David, known for his exceptional skill and passion for art, said, “Hi guys, I am so happy to say that we have broken the current record and all we have to do now is set a new one.”
All in all, it was a weekend of business as usual in Nigeria – plenty of drama, little progress. Stay tuned for next week’s installment of “Nigeria: Where Chaos Reigns Supreme”!”
