Breaking: Ex-Oyo Gov, Abiola Ajimobi, Is Dead
Ailing immediate past Governor of Oyo State, Abiola Ajimobi has died, it emerged on Thursday afternoon.
Confirming the death of former governor Ajimobi, Hon Akin Alabi, shared pictures with him which he captioned;

Ajimobi who passed on at age 70 was named the acting National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) last week Tuesday, and had been receiving treatment for over three weeks, battling COVID-19.
However, his aides last week announced that he has recovered from the virus but was being treated for other ailment.
On June 18, it was rumored that Ajimobi passed on from coronavirus complications as a result of underlying health conditions.

It was later debunked by his aides and family members as untrue, but that he was recovering from another illness.
Reports emerged three days ago that the Senator’s health deteriorated and was allegedly placed on life support after undergoing lung surgery but his kidneys failed.
He is survived by his wife, Florence, and children.
