Samuel Akpan, 34, Shola Owolabi, 28 and Michael Lanre, 21, have been arrested by the police in Lagos for alleged gang raping of a 17-year-old girl and uploading the video onto the internet.
The suspects who specialized in the act, usually gang rape, film the young girls in the act and upload it to embarrass the victims however the Suspects claim that the young lady was “enjoying it”
Owoseni said when the matter was reported at Ipaja Ayobo Police Station where the said suspects were arrested.
According to the story by one of the suspects,Shola Owolabi, he and Lanre met Akpan, making love to the girl. He then persuaded her to let him “enter set” and she obliged.
While he was “doing her”, Lanre walked in and brought out his phone and acted as if he was using the torch on the phone to look for something in the room, but instead was filming them both in the act.
More confusing,he went on to say that the his landlord called the police on them as he heard the teenage girl screaming but Shola claims that she was screaming from a pending orgasm and was misinterpreted as a cry for help.
Continuing,the third suspect, Lanre explained that he also had sex with the girl, but he did not know the girl before then. He admitted to switching on the torch on his phone but claimed that he never thought of filming them in the act and mistakenly pressed the record button.
The third suspect, Akpan denied uploading the video on the internet. He said he did not know his friends would come when he was making love to the girl.
The three Suspects are currently under the custody of Ayobo Police Station. Investigations continue.
