Just In: NCDC Records 155 New Coronavirus Cases, 218 Recoveries, 4 Deaths
Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has confirmed 155 new cases, 218 recoveries and 4 deaths on Monday, September 7.

On Sunday, the country’s total caseload was 55,005 with 43,013 recoveries and 1,057 fatalities nationwide.
With the latest toll, total cases have now increased to 55,160 with 43,231 recoveries and 1,061 casualties across the country.
In other news, the Federal Government has explained how it disbursed N30, 540,563,571.09 between April 1 and August 30 out of the funds it got as donations to fight COVID-19.
Private sector-led Coalition Against COVID-19 (CACOVID) raised N36.3 billon to support the Federal Government’s battle against the Coronavirus pandemic.
Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) coordinated and warehoused the funds being managed by the Office of the Accountant-General of the Federation (OAGF).
The funds are released by the OAGF to government agencies to strengthen the anti-COVID-19 fight.
